"The Farm. A new beginning"
Ferma vedetelor ( English: Celebrity farm) is the current Romanian version of the reality television show The Farm based on the Swedish television series of the same name that was originally created in 2001 by Strix and produced in association with Sony Entertainment and Endemol. The series premiered on March 9, 2015 on Pro TV.
The show is based on a group of celebrities living together twenty-four hours a day in a Farm, isolated from the outside world (primarily from mass media, such as newspapers, telephones, television and the internet) while having all their steps followed by cameras around-the-clock, with no privacy for three months.
The contestants compete for the chance to win the grand prize by avoiding weekly eviction, until the last celebrity remains at the end of the season that can claim the grand prize. The show was presented by Iulia Vântur, Monica Bîrlădeanu and now is presented by Mihaela Rădulescu and Cristi Bozgan

"Black Buffalo Water" (1970)
Black Buffalo Water is a social documentary that was recorded by 6 directors (without any script) right after the big flood of 1970. The images are really painful to see, as it's a tragic and real situation that happened. All the recorded footage is real, filmed with 'on shoulder cameras' and edited so that the movie will have a huge impact on the audience. As a side story, the movie is made under the communist influence, so in the documentary, the communist party is the 'big savior of people' even though the communists didn't do a thing for the poor. All ordinary people have donated food, water and clothes to people in need.
"Felix and Otilia" (1972)
'Felix and Otilia' is a feature artistic film, released in 1972, so it was made at least 2 years prior releasing. This means this is a middle-aged film, that was well preserved. But, unfortunately, the reel that survived has been kind of torn to pieces, because the director wanted to make an experiment with the reel; so he decided to make a copy for the movie, but to transform it into a [1] bleach bypass. This is a chemical (irreversible) process, where you purposely destroy the colors from the film and make it look FADED! My work can be seen with the Before&After pictures.
"The Gordian Knot" (1979)
"The Arena" (1981)
"The Arena"
Synopsis: "Ironically look at the traditional notion of heroism. Under the pretext of a live TV show, we witness a parodic vision of the classic battle between the knight and the dragon."
"The Gordian Knot"
Synopsis: On a scene, a huge knot. An athlete heads to the knot and sets it up with the sword in two. The audience applauds. Another entrant attempts to disassemble the node. His labour is in vain. The audience whistles, booters, then leave. But the competitor does not leave and untie the knot. In front of the ... empty room.

"The Reenactment" (1968)
Story: A magistrate acquits two teenagers after they get into a bar fight, then forces them to re-enact the event.
This movie was about the suppression and the aggression that people (no matter how old they were) had to endure from the secret services, secret police, or from dumb people who were put in powerful positions by a stupid and mean ruler (Ceaușescu). Mostly the young generation in those days was denigrated and highly humiliated by the authorities. This movie talks about the abuse of power that the authorities are using against their 'brothers', the other Romanians. And this situation really happened, it is more painful as it's very true, but now it's just (kind of badly) acted. Still, the movie remains a wake-up call for all of us to remember that, even though we are struggling with corruption now, then was worse. We had no liberty, we couldn't resist, we couldn't oppose and couldn't express our opinions. We just had to swallow everything that they gave us, otherwise, we were put to jail (where you were beaten to death), or to work for 'the good of society', as a prisoner, in inhumane conditions. Again, until you died.
